Your resume is your sales brochure...a foot in the door. Therefore you want the most powerful resume possible, and that takes teamwork. If you want to get the very best out of our resume writing staff, it will also take some work on your part. The following tips will ensure that you get the most effective product at the lowest cost:
* Have a focused career objective. We do not write "general" resumes. Examples of focused career objectives are: Elementary School Teacher, Human Resources Generalist, Brand Manager: Consumer Products.
* Have some job postings of the types of jobs you are looking for. Today resumes are written based on key words and specific job descriptions. By looking at job postings of similar jobs, those key words will be apparent.
* Have some stories to tell. Today's resumes are accomplishment based so we are looking for your "proud moments." They include career accomplishments, awards you won, special projects you worked on, new processes you created, mistakes you found that save your employer time and money.....
* If you already have a resume online, send it in advance. This isn't required, but it is helpful.
Fees:
Students/Recent Grads: $160 - 180
Non-management: $200 - $240
Manager/Executive: $240 - $320
Cover letters: $60 - $80
Resume critique: $80
Cover letter critique: $40
10% discount applies on cover letter when combined with a resume.
Payment is due at time of service. If additional fees are accrued, they will be billed after service has been completed. Depending on employment status, payment arrangements can be negotiated. We accept checks, cash and PayPal.
