We will help you clarify your skills, values, interests and personality type to identify meaningful work compatible with your personal criteria and lifestyle requirements. Our advisors are qualified to administer and interpret a variety of assessment tools and guide you through the career exploration process.
JOB FINDING TECHNIQUES: To help you polish your skills when it comes to networking, resume writing, interviewing, salary negotiating and on-line job searching. We can also assist you in researching employers, industry trends, salary information and the complexities of uncovering the hidden job market.
PERSONAL MARKETING PLANS: Essential to conducting a productive, efficient and targeted job search. We will help you establish goals, timelines, strategies and the marketing materials necessary to reach your career destination.
HOW YOU BENEFIT: As a client of Career Advisors, you will receive the following benefits...Clarity and direction to your job search, saving you time and money ~ Access to career resources, information and techniques recommended by professional career counselors ~ An objective point of view and constructive feedback in analyzing your skills, marketing materials and job search preparedness ~ Mentoring and guidance through the job finding process.
TERMS OF PAYMENT: When working with Career Advisors you pay as you go. Appointments (in person or by phone) can be scheduled in 15 minute increments based on your needs. Hourly fees range from $80 to $125 depending on referral status. Sliding-scale fees may apply. We accept on-line payment through Paypal or checks. There is a penalty of $25 for missed appointments or meeting cancelled with less than 24-hrs notice.
For clients interested in Assessment & Career Exploration, we generally require a three-session commitment at a fee of $300. This includes testing fees and workbook.
