Internship Opportunities
Career Advisors offers three-month internships for the following:
Public Relations/Social Media Marketing Intern: 5-10 hours per week
Most work can be done from home. Interns will be required to attend a weekly team meeting at the Mercer Island office or by phone. Starting date is negotiable.
Job Description:
Identify and implement strategies to promote Career Advisors' products and services.
Duties:
- assisting in the development of marketing plans
- developing and managing databases
- writing press releases, e-mail blasts, electronic newsletters
- identifying and coordinating public speaking opportunities
- maintaining website content
- exploring social media tools and opportunties
Qualifications:
- interest in a career in Public Relations/Marketing
- effective communication skills orally and in writing
- some knowledge or experience using Facebook, Twitter, Linked-in, etc.
- pro-active, creative and enthusiastic
- self-directed and can work from home
- Preferred: Internship can be applied for college credit
