OUTPLACEMENT/CAREER TRANSITION

One-on-One Counseling:

Provides customized career transition counseling for individuals who are being laid off or retiring from the company. Appropriate for employees at all levels.

Small Group Workshops:
Designed for groups of up to ten employees, this eight-hour workshop provides the essential elements of a successful career transition. Includes transferable skills assessment, job finding techniques, resume writing, personal marketing plans and an interviewing tune-up .

Combination:
Small group training combined with private counseling is the strongest preparation employees can receive to make a successful career transition. Includes six hours of class time and a minimum of three personal counseling hours.

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

Career Path Development:

To retain and retrain employees wanting to move to the next level within the organization. Helps employees to develop goals and enhance skills vital to getting ahead.

Job Readiness Training: 
The perfect addition to any new hire orientation.  Helps the new employee to "hit the ground running."

Type and Team: 
Uses the Myers-Briggs Type Inventory as a tool to improve teamwork and enhance effective communication as well as assist in career development.        

TRAILING PARTNER EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE

Eighty-percent of all relocation refusals are based on family issues, with the partner's career concerns being high on the list.  Career Advisors has extensive experience working with partners to find appropriate employment and helping them settle in to their new location.  Career services include assessment, resume development, potential employers lists, certification/licensing, networking/volunteering opportunities, job leads, and interviewing/negotiating practice.  Transition counseling is also provided to help families with education, health care, recreational activities and adjustment issues associated with relocating to a new home.
